Chuck & Augie’s Restaurant is named in honor of Charles and Augustus Storrs, benefactors of the University of Connecticut. From its humble beginnings in 1881, UConn has grown to be one of the top public research universities in the nation. The Department of Dining Services has kept pace with that growth, offering excellence in service while enhancing the campus experience through quality and value to students, faculty and staff. It is with much honor and respect that we dedicate this restaurant to Charles and Augustus Storrs.

Did You Know?
As one of the restaurant’s "green" initiatives, the oil we cook in is recycled into biodiesel and used to fuel the UConn busses. Also, our menu is trans-fat free!

FROZEN YOGURT NOW at The Blue Cow!

Dining Services is pleased to offer frozen yogurt, a delicious, non-fat, healthier dessert option. The yogurt comes in two flavors: Chocolate and Tart. A wide array of toppings are also available to choose from. We would LOVE to hear your comments about the new frozen yogurt! Customers are encouraged to tweet their comments to #moogood

Appetizers

  • Spinach Artichoke Dip $6.95
    Spinach & artichoke hearts blended in a creamy three cheese Alfredo sauce, topped with diced tomato & red onion.
    Served with tri-colored tortilla chips.
  • Spicy Nachos Supreme $8.95
    A generous plate of tortilla chips topped with jalapeños, black olives, chopped tomatoes, melted cheddar & Monterey jack cheese, topped with three bean chili.
    Served with a side of sour cream & salsa.
    Guacamole 1.00 additional.
  • Buffalo Chicken Nachos Supreme $10.95
    A generous plate of tortilla chips topped with cheddar, Monterey Jack and crumbled gorgonzola cheese, topped with grilled Buffalo chicken & garnished with fresh scallions. Served with sour cream.

  • Caprese Salad $5.95
    Fresh house made mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, red onion & basil drizzled with a balsamic reduction.

  • Chuck & Augie’s Angus Char-Grilled Burger $7.95
    A char-grilled Angus beef burger topped with romaine lettuce, tomatoes & red onion. Served on a gluten-free roll with chips.
    Choose from the following for an additional .75 each: cheese (cheddar, Swiss, provolone, gorgonzola), caramelized onions, mushrooms or bacon.
  • California Club $8.95
    Thinly sliced turkey breast topped with avocado, bacon, sprouts, tomato, lettuce & mayonnaise served on a gluten-free roll with mixed green salad or chips.
  • Shredded Chicken Salad with Swiss Sandwich $8.50
    Shredded chicken mixed with diced onion, celery & creamy parmesan peppercorn mayonnaise, topped with Swiss cheese & alfalfa sprouts. Served on toasted gluten free bread with a mixed green salad or chips.
  • Chicken Quesadilla Wrap $8.95
    Southwestern spice rubbed chicken breast with red onion, tomato, avocado, cheddar cheese and cilantro mayo, folded in a wheat free wrap. Served with nacho chips, salsa & sour cream.
  • Oven Toasted Grilled Cheese Sandwich w/Spicy Tomato Soup $8.95
    Our signature spicy tomato soup topped with sour cream and served with a grilled cheese sandwich on gluten free bread.
  • Vegetables with Fresh Mozzarella (contains nuts) $7.95
    Melted mozzarella, tomato, red onion, fresh baby spinach, sliced avocado & portabella mushrooms with pesto mayonnaise on a gluten-free roll.
